Classroom policy and procedures

Preparedness: Students should come to class ready to work. They will be expected to bring paper, pens, class book or books, and their computer to class. Students will not be allowed to return to their lockers to get books, computers, etc.

Re-Do Rules

Students are allowed to make test corrections or re-do written work if they wish to bring up their grades. All test corrections or re-done work must be submitted to the teacher within a two week period from the time that the work was first due. Teacher will average the first and second grades to obtain the final grades. If, for example, the test was a 50 and the test corrections are made which would result in a grade of 100, the grades of 50 and 100 are averaged to obtain a final grade of 75.

Work:

All work is due before the tardy bell rings on the date that it is due. Work should be turned in to teacher. The student then signs the teacher's log book and presents the teacher with their agenda, which has the assignment written on the due date in ink, which the teacher then signs. If the student does not turn in work the day it is due, he/she will be given 50 percent credit. Work turned in two days late will be given a zero.
If the student is absent from class, he/she needs to ask the teacher before school or after school what they missed in the class.  It is the student's responsibility to find out what they missed. Student will have one day for each day he/she was absent to turn in work.
